Privacy Policy
The Love Post collects only the information we need to reserve your spot, process your deposit, send updates, and eventually mail your first envelope.
1. What we collect
We may collect the information you share with us when you reserve your spot, including:
- email address
- customer first name
- partner first name
- mailing name
- mailing address
- relationship stage
- how you heard about us
- email marketing consent
- payment or session records connected to Stripe
2. Why we collect it
We use this information to:
- reserve founding member spots
- process payments
- send confirmation and launch updates
- prepare future mailings
- improve The Love Post before launch
3. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe.
The Love Post does not store full credit card numbers.
We may store payment status, payment amount, Stripe customer, session, or payment identifiers, and related order records.
4. Email updates
Customers may receive confirmation emails and launch-related updates.
Marketing emails are sent where consent has been provided or where otherwise permitted.
Customers can contact hello@lovepost.ca with questions or update requests.
5. Mailing addresses
Mailing addresses are collected so The Love Post can eventually send physical mail.
Customers should contact hello@lovepost.ca if their address changes before launch.
6. Service providers
Customer and order information may be processed or stored using tools we use to run the business, including:
- Supabase
- Stripe
- Netlify
- Resend
- Umami Cloud
7. Website analytics
We use Umami Cloud to understand how people use our website and improve it. It collects page visits, referring websites, browser and device information, approximate location, and interactions such as sample activities and reservation steps. We do not send form answers, names, email addresses, mailing addresses, or payment identifiers to Umami.
Umami analytics is cookieless. We use temporary browser session storage to remember a non-personal referral label during your visit and avoid counting the same deposit confirmation twice.
8. Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect, but no online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Access or correction requests
Customers can email hello@lovepost.ca to ask to delete, correct, or update their information.
